November 25, 2021: Plant of the Week- Anaphalis margaritacea (Pearly Everlasting)
Anaphalis margaritacea, the Pearly Everlasting is a perennial herb that blooms July through September, and can grow up to 3 feet tall. This plant prefers partial sun with moist to dry soil. The foliage alternates with long, narrow, green leaves; with white, paper like flowers with yellow centers. This plant grows all throughout Washington, and several other states. This plant is great for your garden as it is easy to grow, and attracts many pollinators!
