June 30, 2022: Plant of the Week- Spiraea splendens (densiflora)

Rose Meadowsweet is a deciduous shrub that can grow up to 3 ft tall. It has reddish, brown stems and small, 5 petal, bright pink flowers. They bloom in clusters and multiple clusters form an umbrella shape. You can find these flowers in bloom from June through August in moist forests or rocky slopes. It grows best in moist to dry soil with full to part sun. Rose Meadowsweet is a great plant to add color to your garden and brings in the pollinators!
