Missed Your Free Tree on Earth Day? We’ve Got You Covered for Arbor Day!

If you didn’t make it to the Co-op for your free Cascara or Sitka spruce, don’t worry we’ve got leftovers and we’re giving them away this Friday for Arbor Day at Plantas Nativa!
These native trees are resilient, beautiful, easy to grow, and great for both containers and gardens. Help us restore local ecosystems, support pollinators, and plant with purpose

As Bay said: “It’s the one day of the year set aside to be aware of the planet, and do something about it.”

Let’s make it count. Come pick up your free tree!!! One per family, while supplies last!

We’ve teamed up with the Bellingham Community Food Co-op to celebrate Earth Day by giving away FREE native tree starts—because what’s more sustainable than planting a tree?!
Swing by either Co-op location on Tuesday, April 22 from 2–6 PM to grab your very own:

These native trees are resilient, low-maintenance, and container-friendly if you’re short on space. Each one comes with easy planting instructions, courtesy of your friends at Plantas Nativa.
As Bay, owner of Plantas Nativa says, “It’s easier to find a place to plant a tree than to find a bathroom downtown.”
One free tree per family, while supplies last!
Let’s grow a greener Bellingham—one tree at a time.
