Cornus canadensis – Bunchberry Dogwood
Cornus canadensis, also known as Bunchberry Dogwood. It is a perennial ground cover that can grow from 3-6 inches tall. This plant has a showy four petal, white flower, with bright red berries that pop up as the flower dies. The foliage grows in whorls of 4-6 green, oval leaves. Cornus canadensis blooms from May through June, and grows best in moist, shady areas. This ground cover is great for your garden, as it attracts birds and other pollinators with its flowers and berries!
