Triteleia grandiflora v. grandiflora - Large Flower Triteleia

Product Details

Height: This perennial, that grows from bulbs, can grow from 1 to 2 ft tall.

Habitat: Grows best in well drained to dry soil in full to part sun.

Foliage: Long, narrow, lance shaped leaves, looks like grass.

Flowers: Blue to purple and maybe white flowers form in clusters at the end of flower stock and bloom in April though June.

Natural Habitat: Found in prairies and grasslands.

Why is it good for my garden? These flowers are great to mix in with other bulbs in your flower garden. Pretty blue flowers are attractive and will bring in pollinators. Traditionally the bulbs were eaten like potato. Old Botanical Name: Brodiaea douglasii.
