Height: This perennial can grow from 1 to 2 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to well drained soil in full to part shade.
Foliage: Oval shaped, lobed, toothed, green leaves.
Flowers: Purple green to green brown tube shaped flowers grow along a flower stock and bloom May though August.
Natural Habitat: Found in moist wooded areas.
Why is it good for my garden? Piggy-back plant is a great plant for a moist shady area. Easy and fast growing and will attract pollinators. This plant is sometimes called youth on age because it grows its new leaves above or on top of the old leaves.
