Height: This rhizomatous, perennial can grow 1 to 2 ft. tall.

Habitat: Grows best in moist to well drained soil in full to part sun.

Foliage: Lance shaped, green leaves.

Flowers: Purple to purple blue daisy like flower with orange to yellow center blooms July through September.

Natural Habitat: Found in open moist areas.

Why is it good for my garden? This aster is a great flower to add to your flower garden for some great fall flower color. Long lasting flowers attract pollinators.
