Symphoricarpos mollis - Creeping Snowberry

Product Details

Height: This rhizomatous, deciduous, shrub or vine can grow from 1 to 2 ft. tall or long.

Habitat: Grows best in moist to dry soil in full sun to full shade.

Foliage: Opposite, round to oval shaped, lightly toothed, green leaves.

Flowers: Small coral pink to light pink bell shaped flowers form in clusters and bloom May though July.

Fruits: White, waxy, round berries form in fall or after flower fades and can last all winter.

Bark: Greenish brown to brown bark.

Natural Habitat: Found along slopes and forest.

Why is it good for my garden? Creeping snowberry is a nice ground cover for shady areas. Habitat for wildlife and birds eat the berries.
