Height: This deciduous shrub can grow from 2 to 6 ft. tall and has thorns.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to well drained soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Small, round, lobed, toothed, green leaves.
Flowers: Small, cup shaped, yellow orange to white and pink flowers bloom in long clusters in April through July.
Fruits: Black, round berries.
Bark: Brown and thorny bark.
Natural Habitat: Found in forests and along stream banks.
