Why is it good for my garden? Silverweed is an easy to grow perennial that grows fast and can be used for erosion control. Bright yellow flowers attract pollinators especially butterflies. Traditionally, roots were eaten raw or cooked and can be dried and stored for winter. Leaves are also edible and have been used for teas.
