Height: This perennial can grow from 1 to 3 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry soil in full sun.
Foliage: Opposite, lance shaped, toothed, green leaves.
Flowers: Trumpet shaped, violet purple flower blooms June through August.
Natural Habitat: Found off cliffs in rocky areas.
Why is it good for my garden? Cutleaf penstemon is a great plant to add color to your garden and bring in pollinators and hummingbirds.
