Height: This perennial ground cover can grow to 1 foot tall.
Habitat: Grows best in well drained soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Small, oval, green, succulent like, leaves.
Flowers: Bright pink with white center or white with pink tint, 5 petaled, flower blooms May through June.
Natural Habitat: Found in wet, open areas.
Why is it good for my garden? Little leaf miner's lettuce is a great little matting ground cover with its delicate, bright flowers. Easy to grow and attracts pollinators. As the name suggests the leaves are edible and are used in salads.
