Height: This rhizomatous perennial can grow from 6 to 12 inches tall.

Habitat: Grows best in moist to dry soil in part to full shade.

Foliage: Oval, green, lobed, toothed, hairy leaves.

Flowers: Intricate, green flowers form along a long flower stocks and bloom March to May.

Natural Habitat: Found in deep woods, wet banks, and wet meadows.
