Height: This rhizomatous perennial can grow from 1 to 2 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to dry soil in part shade.
Foliage: Lance shaped, toothed, dark green leaves.
Flowers: Small white flowers form in clusters on long flower stocks and bloom April to July.
Natural Habitat: Found in bogs, along stream banks, and wet meadows.
Why is it good for my garden? Bog saxifrage is a pretty perennial to add to any moist area in your garden. This plant attracts pollinators to your yard.
