Height: This rhizomatous perennial can grow from 1 to 2 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to dry soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Opposite, bright green, fragrant, toothed leaves,
Flowers: Small purple to pink groups of bell shaped flowers.
Bark: Like all members of the mint family the stock on these plants are square.
Natural Habitat: Found in open areas.
Why is it good for my garden? Wild mint is loved by bees. Leaves can be eaten or used for tea. Plant in an area that you do not mind this plant taking over because it will grow in thick and quick.
