Height: This perennial can grow up to 2 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in well drained soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Feathery, thin, lance shaped green leaves form and grow close to the ground.
Flowers: Small umbrella shaped clusters of tiny yellow flowers bloom April to June.
Natural Habitat: Found in prairies and open grass lands.
Why is it good for my garden? Spring Gold is a pretty little feathery plant that would works in most any area of your garden. This perennial will bring in tons on pollinators to your yard. The root of this plant has been used traditionally for food. It can be eaten raw or cooked.
