Height: This clumping grass know as a rush can grow from 1 to 3 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to wet soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Blue green upright round blades that has brown covering around the base of each stem.
Flowers (Inflorescence): Brown oblong flowers grow in clusters that come right out of the side of the blade of this plant.
Fruits: Round brown seeds form after flower fades.
Natural Habitat: Found in wetlands and marshes.
Why is it good for my garden? This is habitat for lots of small creatures.
