Foliage: Green lance shape leave grows from base.
Flowers: Deep purple flowers are veined and yellow centers.
Natural Habitat: Found along riversides, in meadows and woods in moist areas.
Why is it good for my garden? Alaska iris is a nice plant for a wet area of your yard. Can be used along water features. Great alternative to a non native iris.
