Height: This perennial can grow from 2 to 8 inches tall.

Habitat: Grows best in moist to well drained soil in full to part sun.

Foliage: Light green lance shaped blade.

Flowers: Light yellow to cream colored flower with purple vines running though it. Bloom May through July.

Natural Habitat: Found in open forest areas.

Why is it good for my garden? This iris is a great replacement to other non native iris since it does not take over your yard but grows in a nice clump.
