Height: This evergreen perennial can grow from 5 to 34 inches tall.
Habitat: Grows best in full to part sun in a dry to well drained soil. Drought tolerant.
Foliage: Tight, evergreen, clumps of scalloped three shallow lobed green leaves. These look like rounded maple leaves. Tiny hairs cover this whole plant.
Flowers: Tall, thick stocks have many small bell shaped green flowers bloom May to August. With Heuchera varieties you can tell the different plants by their flower stocks and flowers. This one having a the thickert stock and a smaller flower.
Natural Habitat: Found on gravely areas in prairies and in foothills.
Why is it good for my garden? This evergreen clumping plant is great for accents to your garden. Can be used as a short hedge. Bees and hummingbirds like this plants flowers.
