Height: This perennial can grow from 1 to 3 feet tall and 1 to 2 feet wide.
Habitat: Grows best in well drained to dry soil in full sun.
Foliage: Lance shaped gray green leaves are hairy and fragrant.
Flowers: Bright yellow muti petal flower blooms June through Sept.
Natural Habitat: Usually found east of the Cascades in open dry areas.
Why is it good for my garden? Hairy Goldaster is a great plant for a dry area or rock garden because of its bright yellow flowers that attract butterflies and other pollinators.
