Height: This perennial that grows from a bulb can reach 2 to 4 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in full to part sun and well drained to dry soil.
Foliage: Thin, lanced shaped, green leaves.
Flowers: Bell shaped mottled purple and green to yellow green flowers that open facing the ground. Bloom April through June.
Natural Habitat: Found in open grassy areas to lightly shaded forest openings.
