Height: This evergreen ground cover can grow from 4 to 6 inches tall and spread to 3 ft. wide.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to well drained soil in full to part shade.
Foliage: Light green, veined, toothed leaf that grows in clusters of three.
Flowers: Five petal flower with yellow center blooms April to June.
Fruits: Sweet, red berries.
Natural Habitat: Found in moist woods to sandy stream banks.
Why is it good for my garden? This evergreen strawberry is great as a ground cover in a shady area. Edible fruit are delicious and bring in wildlife.
