Height: This clumping perennial can grow from 8 to 25 inches tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry to well draining soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Green, soft leaves extend out of clumps.
Flowers (Inflorescence): Spikes flower May through August.
Fruits: This sedge produces seeds.
Natural Habitat: Found in open areas and prairies in open areas.
