Height: This thicket forming, fragrant, evergreen shrub can grow from 2 to 10 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in full sun to part shade in well drained soil.
Foliage: Alternate, oval shaped, glossy green leaves.
Flowers: Fragrant creamy white flower clusters bloom June through September.
Bark: Soft brown bark.
Natural Habitat: Found in moist to dry forest openings.

Long tap root makes it drought tolerant when established. This plant has medicinal uses. It also attracts pollinators to your garden.
