Height: This evergreen shrub grows for 3 to 13 ft. tall.

Habitat: Grows best in dry to well drained soil from full to part sun.

Foliage: Opposite, blueish green, oblong, toothed leaves.

Flowers: Dense clusters of little creamy white flowers bloom May through July.

Bark: Reddish or purple bark.

Natural Habitat: Found in dry open forest to thickets.

Why is it good for my garden? The beautiful white flower clusters and red stems of these plants make them a nice shrub to add to any garden. They are also a nitrogen fixer for your soil. Attracts pollinators.
