Height: This perennial can grow up to 3 ft tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to dry soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Narrow lance shaped, green fuzzy leaves with narrow tips.
Flowers: Bright red tubular shaped flowers that are green at base. Blooms April through August.
Natural Habitat: Found in moist wetlands.
Why is it good for my garden? This is a bright perennial that would work well in a flower garden since it can tolerate most growing conditions. Butterflies and other pollinators are attracted to this flower.
