Height: This clumping sedge can grow up to 3 ft. tall and maybe to about 2 ft. wide.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to well draining soil in part shade.
Foliage: Wide green blades.
Flowers (Inflorescence): Soft, green to brown, dangling, overlapping, dense flower heads.
Fruits: This sedge produces seed.
Natural Habitat: Found in wet areas in mountain meadows.
Why is it good for my garden? This sedge is nice for a party shady area. It has decorative drooping flower heads.
