Height: This herbaceous perennial can grow to 60 inches tall.

Habitat: Grows best in dry open mostly sunny areas.

Foliage: Opposite, round toothed leaves with a fine hairs on the underside.

Flowers: Purple flowers bloom May to August.

Natural Habitat: East side slope of the Cascades.
