Height: This herbaceous perennial can grow to 20 inches tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry open mostly sunny areas.
Foliage: Opposite, round toothed leaves with a fine hairs on the underside.
Flowers: Purple flowers bloom June to August.
Natural Habitat: East side slope of the Cascades.
Why is it good for my garden? Dark purple flowers provide a beautiful addition to flower gardens and attract pollinators.
