Height: Can get up to 6 inches tall but is more of a cascading, groundcover (prostrate), mat forming plant that can grow up to 6 feet long.
Habitat: Succulent looking ground cover that grows on beaches. Likes dry soil and full sun.
Foliage: Stocky green stems that sprawl out.
Flowers: Many yellow trumpet shaped flowers that form a cluster. Blooms May though August.
Natural Habitat: Grows mostly on beaches, sand dunes, and river mouths. Tolerates salt spray.
Why is it good for my garden? Beautiful bright yellow flower clusters that bloom most of the year so would work great in rock gardens or beach fronts.
