Height: This beautiful evergreen shrub can get 6 to 8 ft tall.
Habitat: Grows best in a well drained area that had full sun to open light. Drought tolerant when established.
Foliage: Dark green glossy evergreen leaves.
Flowers: Urn-shape flowers bloom April to September.
Fruits: Rough orange to red fruit is edible.
Bark: Cinnamon colored bark.
Natural Habitat: Open disturbed area that are partly to fully sun.
Why is it good for my garden? This shrub has beauty year round due to the beautiful bark, flowers and fruit. Small evergreen shrub with great dense shape. Drought tolerant once established. This shrub attracts bees, butterflies, and birds. Berries are edible and taste varies from plant to plant.
